Raging Bull Ronin Warriors In Plate Final - London Festival 7s - 1&2 May

The Raging Bull Ronin Warriors were being coached by England 7s superstar ISOA DAMUDAMU for the festival 7s as the normal management team for the warriors were in Fiji after a 6 month tour of Afghanistan.

In the true spirit of the name RONIN the team was a band of mercenaries from the Marchwood dolphin’s stable that had competed successfully in the Windsor 7s the week before.

This did not affect the team at all and they narrowly lost to eventual winners and premiership outfit the SARACENS 22-19 in the first game of the weekend.

They went on to win and draw their remainder of games but due to point’s difference and a re-formatted system they found themselves in the final against a strong Apache side. However they also appeared to play the referee and soon realised that they would have to settle for plate runners up.

This again is another feather in the warriors cap as in season one to be playing sides such as Saracens and coming so close there is definitely a bright future for the Raging Bull Ronin club.

A thankyou to Damudamu and the Marchwood guys for taking on the challenge. Vinaka.
